I value strong, long-term relationships. It's probably ingrained from my family's 150-year connection to this community. I am among the newer generations born and raised here and share quality time with family scattered around this area. Regardless of where it came from, I see the theme of long-term relationships all around my life – with my family, my branch team and the clients I serve.

I've built the long-term relationships I treasure with so many clients, relationships based on trust and mutual understanding. Our branch moves beyond basic investing and works to understand what is most important in clients' lives, and the financial strategies I recommend encompass all the things that matter to them. They're flexible strategies that can bend and change as life changes, but always with an eye toward achieving the goals.

Now after 20 years in my branch, I work primarily with those nearing or already in retirement and their families. My background and level of experience (I also have spent 15 years working at a bank and trust company) equip me to serve clients with even the most complex of needs. Our branch team includes Sr. Branch Office Administrators Marion Jeffery (here for 13 years) and Shauna Maier (here for 8 years), both of whom also have banking experience. And in the "back office," we have 6,000 associates in the U.S. and Mississauga providing research, resources, tools and technology.

My wife of 29 years, Tracy, and I have two daughters, Emily and Katie, who are now young adults and building their own life stories. We love our cottage on Miller Lake and the activities that go with it – boating, fishing, campfires, snowmobiling. I love to cook outdoors over an open fire, a skill I learned in Argentina. Though I'm no longer in a band, I still play guitar, and I enjoy driving my old corvette. To support our local community, I have served on the South Huron Police Services board for the past 15 years.
