I’ve always enjoyed problem solving. This started as a child solving puzzles, and continued in my studies as I completed my degree at Simon Fraser University; my love for problem solving carried into my first career where I spent 15 years working in Civil Litigation and Alternate Dispute Resolution as a Research and Policy Consultant to the Federal Government, advising Crown Counsel and Senior Staff on points of historical and jurisdictional liability. The skills used there - teaching, research analysis, problem-solving - have been instrumental in helping keep my Edward Jones clients on track with all of their savings and financial goals.

I have been serving families and small businesses in the Cowichan Valley since 2012, initially out of the Cobble Hill office, then from the Duncan Branch since May 2013. A Cowichan Valley resident since 2002, I actively give back to the community as a member of Duncan Daybreak Rotary. I am active in the small business community as a member of the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce; and as a current member and past president of Valley Voices BNI (Business Networking International).
