Being a trusted Financial Advisor isn't my job – it's my passion.

There are many reasons why I became a financial advisor; but there is one life experience that drives me to ensure that my clients feel educated, on track and in control regardless of what is going on in their lives at the moment.

In 2007, with 3 young beautiful children, trauma hit and over night I became a single parent. I wasn't prepared.

Like many families, we had split responsibilities, my spouse handling our finances. We had a good life, good jobs, benefits, a lovely home. Finances was the last of my worries.

As I worked my way through learning what we owned, what we owed, how the ownerships of our various assets were set-up, beneficiaries etc., I realized we hadn't been financially healthy in a long time.

I also quickly realized that I did not have the right professional team in place. They were more interested that I just hand them the reins so that they could "do what they do best" then trying to help me become more educated or learn about what my fears were, what I wanted for my family and myself or where I was headed in life. How could they possibly do what was right for me if they didn't even know me?

Fast forward a "few years", financially healthy, happily remarried with a beautiful blended family and the full support of my husband, I set out to do what I do best – build meaningful relationships, listen, learn, educate, problem solve and do whatever it takes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients and my community.

From divorce, loss of a loved one, selling a business, transitioning the family farm to the next generation, or preparing for retirement, my practice has been built to support those going through complex or difficult transitions and is well-suited to work with multiple generations of families.

I use an all encompassing approach that doesn't focus on how much money you have. It focuses on your needs, your fears and your goals and it encompasses your mental, emotional, physical and financial health. Together, we'll build a plan to reach your goals and ensure you have the tools and resources to help you as you encounter life's many curves.
