I learned the value of a dollar at an early age. When I was 6 years old, everyday after a hard day in grade one learning to add and read, I walked down to my parent's restaurant and peeled carrots for an hour. I was paid $1.00 an hour, which given that it was the early seventies when the minimum wage was about $4.00 and I was only 6, was pretty good!
I understand the work it takes to earn every dollar, and the respect with which it should be treated. Growing up in small business lit the fire in me to help others succeed and understand the hard work it takes to be successful - in personal and business finances.
I began my career with Edward Jones by opening the first Edward Jones office in the Annapolis Valley in 2013 after having worked with RBC for the previous seven years. I have built my practice one client at time through the delivery of a high level of service, quality advice and responsible investment strategies. Financial knowledge and Investor education are important to me which is why I contribute a bi-weekly column to The Harvester and conduct many complimentary seminars through the year including Wills and Estates Planning, Women and Investing and Retirement Readiness.
I am an active member of the Annapolis Valley Community and serve on several boards and committees. I am the Chair of the AVCC Women of Excellence Awards, a program that seeks to inspire and engage all community members by recognizing the achievements of women in the community in the areas of mentorship, leadership and engagement.
At Edward Jones, we focus on you. The firm has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting our office so that we can help you, your business and your family reach your long-term financial goals. I take great pride in making a meaningful difference in my clients' lives by helping them achieve their most important financial goals through the implementation of wealth building, and protection, strategies.
