I am a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Flin Flon, Manitoba. I began my career in the financial industry in banking in 1987 and quickly saw the unmet need of providing financial planning services to Canadians.
I began studying and honing my craft and obtained my CFP certification in 1993. That same year I was promoted to the Manager of Personal banking at RBC, focusing on high net worth clients. Three years later, I took on a new Account Manager role in Business Banking. In 2000, I became an Investment Retirement Planner becoming one of RBC's top producers. In 2004, I joined Edward Jones and have never looked back. I quickly became a top advisor in the firm with a keen ability to partner with my clients and create financial strategies focused on each of my client's unique goals. My primary focus is now on helping my clients with their retirement strategy, including both the accumulation and income phases.
I am a lifelong learner and a firm believer in education. I attained my certificate in Small Medium Enterprise Studies from ICB, sat on a committee to re-shape the credentials for the CFP designation, was an Examination Item Writer for FP Canada and have been helping to train and mentor new advisors at Edward Jones for many years.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from the University of Manitoba. I live with my husband Michael and our two cats. In my free time, I love traveling, boating and swimming.
