Life can be stressful — we’re all pushed and pulled in a lot of directions every day. And because of that, there are often things we need to do but don’t because we don’t have the time or the energy. Saving your money and investing in the future are two of those things.

Even though we all have dreams of a comfortable retirement or to send our children to college or university, many of us put off planning because it seems too complicated or too late. I know because I was one of those people.

Growing up, my parents never really talked to me about money. I had to learn how to spend and save by making mistakes on my own. As I grew up, got married and started a family, I realized how important it was to have a safety net for my two kids and husband.

I also had to find a way to pay for my passion: farming.

I’ve always wanted a hobby farm! We started with 6 chickens and every hobby farmer knows chickens are the gateway animal. Now, we have chicks, ducks, goats and alpacas. It’s a labour of love for me and my two kids (my husband tolerates it). But you may be surprised to know shovelling goat poop doesn’t pay for itself, so I started investing and saving to make my hobby farm dream come true.

What’s your dream? What future do you see for you and your family? And what is stopping you from getting that future started? These are some of the questions I’ll ask you as we get you started down the right track. With me, you’ll get honesty, loyalty and an ear ready to listen.

Knowing where and how to invest your money can be overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be — if you let me help. Call me and let’s plan a future of possibilities, together.
