To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.
It's important to carve out some time to do what you love doing, recharge and think about what's most important to you and what you want to achieve. For me, it's about helping my clients get to where they want to be, and about spending time with my family and having time for the fun stuff too, like designing a garden bed and planting well over 1000 flower bulbs!
When it comes to gardening, I can't help but see the similarity with developing a financial strategy. When we put in the work upfront, have patience and nurture our efforts, we'll reap the rewards not only today but for years to come.
As you and I begin our work together, we'll start with your vision – what you value, what you want for yourself and your family, what dreams you want to realize. We'll look at where you are, where you'd like to be and how to get there using a solid financial strategy tailored to your unique goals and circumstances. My explicit promise to you is this: I will treat your money and your future as if it were my own.
My parents helped me understand the value of planning for the future. When I was 11, our family immigrated to Canada. We went from a secure lifestyle to suddenly new surroundings and starting from scratch. I watched my parents struggle their way through to a successful life here. It gave me a new-found respect for how money represents possibilities and a secure future.
I tend to have a lot in common with my clients. I'm a working mother, and I serve many working women and young families. My husband and I are the proud parents of the world's sweetest baby girl, Savanna (though I may be biased). Our household is ruled by our two rescue cats, Sushi and Wasabi.
Recently, I hosted a workshop on how to design your own habitat garden. We had a blast learning about native perennials with an expert horticulturist, who taught us a few tips on composition, the right plant for the right place, and the impact habitat loss has had on our native pollinators.
If you missed it, don't worry. We have more exciting events planned! Check out my page below for details.
Cheers!
