Since 2008, our practice has partnered with our clients in and around Revelstoke, to help build and protect wealth, and help achieve what’s most important to them.
Our established process involves several steps, the first being a meaningful discussion to understand your financial priorities and values. A clear understanding of your family's financial picture puts me in the best position to offer advice, and to help develop a personalized strategy unique to your circumstances.
It’s much more than simply implementing an investment portfolio. Documented goals help you get from where you are today, to where you want to go. Being smart about money also involves important decisions about when to take pensions, appropriate use of registered accounts, as well as unique considerations for business owners.
Your investment strategy is tailored to your goals and risk tolerance and we also work to simplify your financial life by consolidating multiple accounts, providing a clearer picture of where you stand, improving diversification, and reducing costs.
The best laid plans can go off course, so our process ensures proactive contact to ensure your portfolio reflects changing market conditions, your personal goals and tolerance for risk. This also helps clients understand the reasons for their performance; in my experience, an informed client leads to better outcomes.
I hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. I invest in education to ensure I’m giving the best possible advice to clients.
My wife Diana and I live here with our two kids Cooper and Daisy, and Lucy, our yellow lab. We take full advantage of life here, camping and boating on the Arrow Lakes and Lake Revelstoke in the summer, and skiing and transporting kids to Minor Hockey games in winter. I’m a proud Rotarian, and our family supports the Community Foundation and Minor Hockey. I’m also a past board member of Community Futures.
