My earliest recollection of financial advice and saving money is from a very young age. I recall listening intently to my grandmother talk about the difficult times she experienced as a young woman who immigrated to Canada in the 1920's. Affordable housing, cost of food, and initially a language barrier, all contributed to an uphill financial climb that was overcome by hard work, good advice, smart choices, and the opportunity for prosperity.
