Edward Jones Canada achieved an overall satisfaction score of 726 on a 1,000-point scale, significantly above the advised industry average of 674, and marking the 10th first-place ranking for the Canadian firm in 14 years.

What Investments has Edward Jones Canada Made to Improve Client Satisfaction?

We're making $100 million in investments over the next two years in significant technology enhancements to meet evolving client expectations. This includes new teaming models, and capabilities to help branch teams broaden their value proposition, while advisors continue to enhance their accreditation and acumen.

Edward Jones Canada recently announced its intention to acquire Fiduciary Trust Company of Canada (FTCC). While subject to regulatory approval, this acquisition aims to enhance Edward Jones' trust and estate capabilities, as well as discretionary investment management services, positioning the firm to better serve clients through the anticipated $1.2 trillion wealth transfer over the next eight years.

Study Methodology

The JD Power 2026 Canada Investor Satisfaction Study℠ was fielded from September 2025 through January 2026, based on responses from 4,529 evaluations of advice-based and 2,882 evaluations of DIY investment providers, including responses from 283 Advised Edward Jones Canada clients.

The study evaluates seven dimensions of satisfaction: Trust, People, Products Meeting Client Needs, Ease of Doing Business, Digital Channels, Resolving Problems or Complaints, and Value for Fees Paid. 

Edward Jones received the highest score in the JD Power 2026 Canada Investor Satisfaction Study℠ of customers' satisfaction among advice-based investors.
