Damien Burleigh

Damien Burleigh is a Senior Analyst, Client Needs within the Canadian financial planning department, where he is responsible for developing and enhancing advice and guidance resources that improve understanding of financial topics among Edward Jones' Canadian branch teams and clients. As a financial planning subject matter expert, Damien participates in various working committees where he provides thought leadership and recommendations on comprehensive financial planning policies and strategies that will help Canadians meet their personal goals.

Damien joined Edward Jones in 2021. Prior to working at Edward Jones, he provided holistic financial planning services to business owners and affluent families as a Regional Wealth Planner at Assante Private Client (a division of CI Private Counsel), and at Sun Life as a Director of Estate and Financial Planning Services.

Damien completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Simon Fraser University in 2002. He holds both the Certified Financial Planner® designation and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation. In his spare time, Damien enjoys spending time with his family. He is also a bagpiper and is a member of the 6-time world champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.
