Nick Hummel is an equity analyst on the Securities Research team who supports multiple sectors, including energy, information technology and consumer discretionary.
Nick started his Edward Jones career in December 2002 as a senior internal auditor in the Internal Audit department. After moving to the Operations division in 2005, Nick held various leadership positions in Client Reporting, Securities Operations and other departments. In 2018, he moved to the Research department as a supervisory analyst. He joined the Securities Research team in May 2019 and became an equity analyst in April 2023.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, Nick worked as an external auditor for Deloitte and Touche.
Nick received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute. Nick is also a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
