I'm always trying to better myself and the lives of those around me. While at Ottawa University, I landed a rewarding career as a dispatcher with OPP. On quiet nightshifts my means for staying awake would be furthering my knowledge on how to keep as much money in my pocket (sheltered from the tax man) as well as all possible avenues to have that money work hard for me. I have successfully self-directed my own investments for 10 years now and have provided guidance to those whom have sought it. This incredible passion is what has led me to Edward Jones.
For those that entrust me, implementing custom-made strategies and partnering with them for life (to stay on track) is quite frankly 'my jam' aka calling! Communication is key. I want to know everything about you and your family so that my decisions always reflect your best interests.
Due to my background, I specialize in really understanding those in emergency services - pensions, kids educations, marriage or an unfortunate breakdown as well as planning for the unexpected. As a woman I am also able to really relate to the more maternal financial needs side and come to a healthy median between partners especially younger families looking to be steering in the right direction as they transition from having jobs to careers. I am patient, understanding and am happy to use all sorts of analogies to remove the whirlwind of jargon finance holds.
At heart I'm an Ottawa girl but a few years ago I came back to the Smiths Falls community to be closer to my amazing family. On my spare time I enjoy being a landlord, bbq, ride my motorcycle and socialize. I play volleyball, bike, rollerblade, ski and golf. Volunteering is also very important to me; especially to add value to our youth. It even led me to South Africa once!
