As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I enjoy meeting people like you, learning what's important to you and then partnering with you to help you achieve your short and long-term financial goals. Whether you’re looking to start a registered education savings plan for your kids or grandkids, preparing for retirement in the future, or already in retirement, I, along with my Branch Office Administrators Marla and Laurel, would be happy to help you plan for your future and stay on track.
In addition to helping you with your long-term plans, we can also help you prepare for the unexpected by reviewing both your personal and business insurance needs.
My career in financial services began when I was offered a position as a personal loans officer with a major bank. Over the next 19 years, I transitioned from personal banking to business and agricultural banking while moving nine times and working at various branch locations throughout the province.
What I like most about Edward Jones is the stability and flexibility it was able to offer. It was important to me and my family that we were able to build a permanent home in Weyburn, so I started to investigate business opportunities that would allow us to do so. Edward Jones was expanding across Canada at the time and offered us the chance to remain in the community while building and running my own practice. I joined the firm in early 1998, and never looked back.
I grew up on my parents’ farm near Herschel, Saskatchewan with my sister. Today, I enjoy golfing and going to concerts. My wife Deborah and I have been married 38 years and we have four children – all grown up now. We have two granddaughters Nora, 3 and Marlie, 8.
