Understanding core values is vital in my world. My core values are family, health, time, lifetime learning, fun, and happiness. My family and I put more value on our time than on our bank account. Jim Rohn put it best, "Time is more valueable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time."

We're privileged to be invited into our clients' lives every day, building on mutually beneficial lifelong relationships. We don’t just help people manage their finances; we help them look to the future with anticipation. Primarily, our office partners with a small group of successful business owners and professionals, who among other things, aspire to a work-optional lifestyle. Our clients have forward-thinking perspectives and desire to create deep, lifelong partnerships.

Doing this right requires you being heard, understood, informed, confident and in-control. Our purpose is to affect our clients' lives in meaningful ways through care, competence, collaboration, honesty, and integrity, through a down-to-earth, fun-loving method. Our process is always strengthening, but what remains constant is starting with YOU. Discovery, in my humble opinion, is the most important piece in our process. By design, we slow down to ensure we hear you. This allows us to put all the puzzle pieces together and build tailored strategies that are easily understood. Richard Branson said it better, "Business has to enhance people's lives or it's simply not worth doing."

A unique part of our practice involves financial literacy, estate considerations, and wealth transfer. We find it’s almost always helpful to engage beneficiaries and set expectations sooner rather than later. Our clients, together with my team, work to set up family meetings for just that purpose. Family wealth is such an interesting area, we feel strongly that a family's financial capital comes second to its human and intellectual capital.

In my humble opinion, measuring wealth is about how flexible my schedule is, not about the size of my balance sheet. As Albert Einstein once said, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." Contact me today if you feel the same. We’ll schedule an informal conversation to see how we can help and to determine if we’re a good fit.

Thank you for your time.

Cheers,
Mike
