When working with a financial advisor, a strong personal relationship is key. Each person has very different goals and aspirations and you'll need to feel comfortable sharing your hopes and dreams for your family. You'll want someone who takes the time to get to know you and what you value – these topics are too important to rush! For the past 19 years, I've built those kinds of relationships with the clients I serve.
After earning my honors business administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University, I discovered that a career as a financial advisor allows me to combine my interest in finance with my passion to make a difference for people in my community. I love working in my home community of St. Thomas with people I see and do business with every day.
Pam Myall, our Senior Branch Office Administrator for twelve years, and Annette Dykxhoorn, our Part Time Administrator, share my belief in exceptional client service and attention to detail. Together, we partner with our clients for life, helping them to achieve their financial dreams.
I've held the Certified Professional Planner (CFP) designation since 2006, having demonstrated the knowledge, skills, experience and ethics to examine clients’ entire financial picture and build personalized strategies to reach their goals. The CFP® holds me to a higher standard on behalf of clients.
I live on a country property (complete with dirt road!) with my husband, teenage son, 2 dogs, a dozen chickens and a few beehives. We love cheering at my son's hockey and baseball games and I enjoy traveling, reading, and running. I have volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Thomas - Elgin, the St. Thomas Elgin Community Foundation, and Inn Out of the Cold.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people every day in our practice.
