There is nothing more important to me than understanding what is most important to my clients. I use an established process to build personalized strategies to help my clients achieve their goals and partner with them throughout their lives to help them keep on track.
I grew up on a farm near Spring Coulee, Alberta, and rented land there for 4 years in the late 1980's as I completed a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. I completed my MBA at the University of Alberta in 1990 and became an insurance advisor and then an insurance broker. I discovered Edward Jones in the fall of 1999 and was hired in January 2000. I opened an office in West Edmonton in June 2000 and moved to the Spruce Grove office in January of 2002.
I earned my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2008 and my Financial Management Advisor designation in 2009.
I served as a volunteer missionary for my church from November 1981 to May 1983 in the Belgium Brussels Mission (French speaking). I have also served since then in numerous volunteer church assignments including teaching both youth and adults, administration, music, youth leadership and adult leadership roles.
My greatest achievement in life was convincing Gina to become my wife. We were married in 1985. Eight kids and seven grandkids later I count my blessings every day.
I served as president of Parkland Community Basketball League from 2007 - 2016 and have coached all 8 of my children with a dozen community teams and 3 school teams over a 20 year span.
I was involved with Scouts Canada for 20 years and have helped 26 young men earn their Chief Scout Award. In 2019 I was presented the Silver Acorn Award for especially distinguished service to Scouting.
I bring the same level of dedication, commitment and energy to my role as Financial Advisor as I have demonstrated in my community service and look forward to many more years serving my clients.
