Hi I'm Jim Anderson.

My team and I have built our business by treating clients as we would want to be treated, a simple idea we feel still makes sense in today's complex marketplace.

I believe it is important to invest my time in understanding what is important to you before you invest your money with me.

Whether you are planning for retirement, saving for college for children or grandchildren, or preparing for the unexpected, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family during all of life's stages.

I joined Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor in 2019. For 25 years prior to that I worked as a Chartered Professional Accountant in a variety of roles at IBM, Bell and Toyota. My focus has shifted from supporting corporations to supporting individuals and their financial needs. In addition to my accounting designation, I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from York University's Schulich School of Business.

I am a long time resident of York Region and have lived in Newmarket since 2007. I serve on the board of a local charity and have enjoyed giving back to the community in this way. I enjoy cycling, travel, and spending time with family.

By asking questions and listening, I will learn what is most important to you. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel understood, informed, in control, and secure. I would love to hear from you to see how I can help you achieve your goals.
