Thinking of retiring? Recently downsized? Switch your job? Opening or selling a business? If you have recently gone through a life change now might be a good time to talk.
I use an established process to help you achieve what is important to you. I focus on retirement strategies, education planning, insurance and tax efficient investing. I especially enjoy intergenerational planning. I chose Edward Jones because of their strong philosophy of putting clients' needs first.
Growing up I was always cautious with money. I remember when I was 7 and my Oma gave me $20 to buy a souvenir when I was traveling. I found something I wanted but realized the prices were in US Dollars and after converting the numbers I would decide that it wasn't worth it because it was 30% more expensive. Needless to say, I ended up coming home with the $20 and putting it into my bank account.
I have many stories like this where I was given money for my birthday or Christmas and instead of buying something with it, I would put it in my bank account. However, now as a financial advisor my only regret is that everything was sitting in cash and not invested.
I majored in accounting at the University of Guelph. After graduation and before joining Edward Jones in 2015, I took some time to travel through Europe and South America. Although I believe in saving your money for the future, I also believe that travelling and seeing the world is very important. I am a huge advocate for this with my clients. You have to live your life today while also saving and planning for tomorrow.
My Branch Office Administrator, Lisa Gordon, has been with Edward Jones since 2012 and is the glue that holds my office together. We work closely together to ensure our clients receive the exceptional service they deserve.
