In my early investing years, I often felt unsure and uneducated. Then I found an Edward Jones Financial Advisor whose approach made me feel informed and even empowered. So when I had the opportunity to study and become an Edward Jones Financial Advisor, I did not hesitate.
At the centre of the strong relationship between my clients and myself, is trust. But of course, trust is something that is earned over time.
My best advice to new investors is to carefully interview your potential advisor:
-Do you feel confident they will bring the most to the table for you and your family?
-Do they want to know more about you, not just your accounts?
-Do they listen carefully to your questions, then ensure you know the answers?
-Do they pose questions you do not know how to ask?
-Over time do they demonstrate that you and your family are at the center of every decision made?
Having started my Edward Jones career with no clients over 10 years ago, my Office Administrator Corrina Dillen and I now serve many families. We continue to accept new clients and families and we are honored that many of our new clients come from referrals.
Outside of my profession, my amazing wife Stacey and I have two great kids and beautiful home on the Spanish River. We have wonderful friends and neighbors and enjoy evenings on our front porch swing. Our family is happy to be a part of the Edward Jones family.
I am grateful to my clients. Without you, my branch and family would not be where we are today. We are blessed many times over.
