As the son of an entrepreneur, I realized at a young age I wanted to be in business for myself. I was unsure what business that would be until I received bad advice from a financial professional. I realized then that I wanted to help others by empowering them financially.

My ideal clients want to take an active role in bettering their lives and see the value of having a "road map" to help work toward their goals. I specialize in helping those in the wealth-building stages of their lives, especially those preparing for retirement. My goal is to ensure their money lasts as long as they do. I also work with individuals transitioning to retirement, helping ensure they are financially prepared to make that move.

We begin by identifying where they are now and where they want to be in the future. I then develop a plan tailored to their specific needs and goals and work with them throughout their lives to keep them on track.

The team approach also applies to Toni Binnie, my senior branch office administrator, and myself. We work to provide exceptional client service excellence to everyone we serve. I also team with other professionals to ensure that anyone who seeks my assistance receives knowledgeable, professional advice on a variety of matters.

On a more personal note, my wife, Kim, and I lead active lives and focus on spiritual and physical fitness. We have three adorable pets: Jethro, a 10-year-old fawn Doberman; Miska, the mouse exterminator and protector of our property (Jethro is more interested in eating and sleeping); and Prince Archie, an adorable orange cat.

I enjoy cooking and am constantly improving my Neapolitan-style pizza dough. I have a small butcher shop in my basement, a large, organic vegetable garden, and small orchard. Kim and I enjoy traveling, and I enjoy listening to vinyl.
