I am a second-generation Edward Jones Financial Advisor, working in my home town of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. I first joined the firm in 2007 and had the opportunity to serve the Pitt Meadows and Fort Langley communities.
In 2009, I took a period of leave from Canada to pursue a Master's degree in the United Kingdom. When I finished, I was offered funding for a PhD, a teaching position, and an office in the attic of what was once King Henry VIII's northern estate. By the time I finished my PhD, I had been appointed Dean of a college and had met my wife. Shortly thereafter, I left academia to manage a research stream into the University's investment and public-facing partnerships. We returned to Canada in part because my wife reminded me that the community involvement and the differences that I was able to make in individual people's lives as a Dean, and the research that I enjoyed, were the same things that I had always said that I loved about being a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Outside of my work with Edward Jones, I enjoy longbow archery, blacksmithing, horseback riding, and travelling with my family.
I am very proud to work with Edward Jones in my community. It is my great privilege to serve my clients and help them to attain their long term goals, ensure that their children and grandchildren can get the best head-start in life, maximize income in retirement and to protect their plans using insurance solutions, so that they can weather the unexpected and establish efficient estates.
Together with my Senior Branch Office Administrator Carla Loewen, and my Branch Office Administrator Stephen Towler, we provide highly personalized service. All aspects of our business are aligned to help us better understand and meet our clients unique goals and needs.
