Whether you dream of affording the best schools for your kids or traveling the world during retirement – or whatever else fits your vision – there's no reason to leave it to chance. I work with clients through an established process that starts with where you are and moves through how to get where you want to go.
When we work together, we'll start by talking. I want to fully understand what is important to you because only then can I recommend a well-tailored financial strategy. I'll consider how much risk you are willing to take and how much time there is to save. I'll consider how to protect what you've earned and how to prepare for unexpected events that could otherwise derail your path forward. Then we will partner together for the long-term with regular check-ins to stay on track no matter what has changed in your situation. We always want to make sure that what we built yesterday still fits today.
When I found Edward Jones 15 years ago, I knew we were a good match. We share the same values – family, community, integrity and always putting the clients' interests first. My philosophy is that we were put on earth to serve humanity, and this work through this firm allows us to do that. When you come into our branch, you'll feel those values in the level of service you'll receive and the joy with which we give it.
In addition to serving clients in my branch, I volunteered for eight years as a regional leader for Edward Jones, allowing me to guide the growth and success of more than 60 financial advisors in the greater Toronto area.
At the core of my personal values is my family – my wife of 30 years, Deborah, and I have two kids now in their 20s. We are a close-knit family and enjoy travelling and staying active together. While I do enjoy relaxing with our dog, Bentley, you can also find me cycling each week on long country roads.
