Michael Lawrence

Michael Lawrence is a Senior Advising Specialist in the Canadian Advice and Guidance department, where he is responsible for developing advice and guidance related to financial and asset management, and the application of advice and guidance across all our systems and tools. He leads the internal Market Volatility Committee, and the Advisor Quarterly Market Insights call in Canada.

Michael started his career at Edward Jones in 2022.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, he worked at MD Financial Management as a Financial Planning Consultant with MD Signature, and more recently as a Portfolio Relationship Manager with MD Private Investment Counsel.

Michael graduated from Laurentian University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) designation, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM^®) designation and is currently working towards attaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA^®) designation.

Michael lives in the Ottawa area with his wife and two young daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking bike rides, golfing, and playing hockey.
