MISSISSAUGA – May 3, 2017 – Edward Jones was rated highest in Investment Executive's 2017 Brokerage Report Card, released on April 28, 2017.
The 25th annual Brokerage Report Card shows the results of a poll conducted by Investment Executive with 561 advisors at 12 independent and bank-owned Canadian brokerage firms. The poll asked advisors to reflect on their views about their firms and the investment industry. In the report card, Edward Jones received an overall rating by its advisors of 9.5, over the average of 8.4 for all firms.
“We are honoured to be rated so highly by our advisors in a shifting regulatory environment where investors are expecting more from their advisors and their firm,” said David Gunn, principal, financial advisor talent acquisition. "This rating is a reflection of the combined effort of everyone at our firm to ensure our branch teams have the tools and resources they need to provide our clients with an exceptional experience."
Out of the 33 categories on which advisors rated their firms, Edward Jones received the highest rating in 13 categories, including compensation, technology tools and advisor desktop, reward and recognition program, ongoing training, strategic focus and corporate culture.
“At Edward Jones, our goal is to provide our advisors with the support they need to help our clients achieve their long-term financial goals,” added Gunn. “By continuing to invest in our branch teams, we strengthen the quality service and advice we deliver to our clients everyday.”
